Ready, Set, Glow!
Lustrous skin is what ties together your entire look and attracts people to you. Our celebrity-quality clinical facials will add the radiance to your skin that every leading lady or headlining man deserves.
Medical facials follow the same general steps as a classic spa facial, including cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration. The primary difference between these two treatments is that medical-grade facials are performed in a professional office using products and tools approved for medical use only and are not available to the general public. The overall results, therefore, appear more effective and help you age gracefully with beautiful, glowing skin.H3

Routine Clinical Facials
When and how often to get a medical facial depends on a variety of factors including skin concerns, desired outcome, and the type of treatment performed. If you are looking to improve chronic acne, you may benefit from a series of medical facials spaced 4-6 weeks apart. If you are seeking quick skin rejuvenation to improve radiance prior to a big event, you may benefit from a single medical facial. However, the results are generally more pronounced after a series of treatments.
Since these facial treatments leverage medical-grade products and tools, it is recommended that they are performed during periods when sun exposure will be limited. This does not necessarily eliminate the summer months, but it is important to be very diligent about sun protection. Book your appointment now.
Clinical Facials FAQ’s
HOW DO I KNOW IF A FACIAL IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Since medical facials are highly customizable, they can effectively address a wide spectrum of skin concerns, making them appropriate for nearly everyone. Your skincare professional will work with you to understand your specific skin needs and will recommend a customized medical facial treatment plan. Our experienced providers will begin by providing a thorough skin examination to determine the best treatment for your skin type.
Medical Grade Facials Can Help Address:
- Fine lines
- Wrinkles
- Brown spots
- Sun damage
- Acne
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE DURING A MEDICAL FACIAL?
A medical facial is generally performed in a medical office. During the treatment, your skincare professional will cleanse, steam, exfoliate, and replenish your skin. Additional treatments including intense pulsed light (IPL), radio frequency, or microneedling may also be added as part of your skincare plan.
Depending on the treatments performed, the facial may last 30 minutes to 1 hour. You may also experience some mild discomfort and downtime. This is contingent upon the concentration of ingredients used and what procedures are performed. After the procedure is completed, it is important that you follow the post-procedure protocol outlined by your skincare professional. This is especially important if your medical facial incorporates treatments that increase your skin’s sensitivity to UV light.
WHAT PRE/POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT?
- Avoid sun exposure before treatment. Sunburned skin cannot be treated.
- If you have a history of perioral herpes, advise the office so you may begin prophylactic antiviral therapy the day before treatment.
- Schedule this treatment at a time when minor swelling or peeling will not disrupt your social obligations.
3 Days Before Treatment:
- Do not bleach, wax, tweeze or use depilatory creams in the treatment area.
- Discontinue use of retinoid (Retin A, Tazorac, Differin, etc.) and Hydroquinone products.
- Discontinue use of 10% or higher Alpha Hydroxyl Acids, Glycolic Acids, and exfoliants.
Day of Treatment Instructions:
- Do not apply lotions, creams, makeup or deodorant in the area to be treated.
- Arrive with clean washed skin.
- Inform your provider of any changes in medical history and of all medications you are taking.
